Client needed a way to keep grandchildren from falling down the stairs. She didn’t want a temporary gate–often are more dangerous with the bottom spreader bar and not completely secure. The challenge was to compliment existing stain wood railing, provide strong gate that would hold up to some abuse from older grandchildren and be able to secure the gate so the little ones couldn’t unlock. After some communication, we finally, I found a pre-made, customizable aluminum gate online that saved client money yet with quality strength and finish coating to last a long time.
